This luxury home was built by the DeLuxe Group as a very important entry statement to Covent Gardens.
In
2003, the DeLuxe Group changed focus quite
considerable. We deliberately moved away
from the Tourism and Hospitality industries
and into the exciting area of Property
Development.
Our
focus is to develop “property with
style”. Although we have three quite
large developments, we certainly are not
in the mass market and are deliberately
targeting the top end residential market
with everything we are doing.
Because
of this, we recognise that our projects
are long-term projects with design and
quality always coming ahead of sales.
We recognise that we are our own biggest
competitor having three different developments
but all in the same target market. This
makes good forward planning essential.
Many
trips to other parts of New Zealand and
around the World have helped with our
long-term plan and vision. From our travel,
we have discovered that many of the areas
which deem to be the best residential
parts of New Zealand seem to have one
thing in common. They
have quite substantial homes built, awesome
landscaping and many of the homes
are two storey. It is our belief that
a two-storey home has so many more possibilities
in design and flare and usually lifts
the overall development. Also a two storey home generally requires a much smaller footprint on your section. This gives a lot more area for landscaping and recreation around the home. Generally it also means that you keep a little further away from your boundaries. Many homes built in Covent Gardens are a true testiment of this, ending up with so much more section in which to enjoy.
We
have, therefore, restricted certain parts
of our developments to only two storey
housing. This way, we can achieve the
desired results.
We
recognise that not everyone in our target
market will be wishing to build two storey
homes, but would like to live in a very
top end part of Marlborough. To be able
to achieve this we have developed certain
pockets within our subdivisions to cater
for the single storey homes as well.
Having
two master bedrooms, one upstairs and
one downstairs can add great value to
a home. This gives much more flexibility
to home owners especially if they become
less mobile or don’t wish to climb
stairs. This is certainly an option that
prospective purchasers may wish to consider
when building themselves.
Having
the opportunity to change the landscape
in a loving, caring and creative way is
very exciting. This is why our planning
process throughout our three projects
expands over the next 5 - 7 years, making
sure that we do not flood the market along
the way. All of our subdivisions will
have extensive landscaping to add to the
style and flare.
