Last year we trialled our first ever Pilote Demonstrator motorhomes and are happy to report that it was a full success. Being able to physically show customers two of our bestselling motorhomes as well as fitting them with most available additional extras has made a world of difference.

Ensuring our customers can make an informed purchase decision, taking the vehicle for a test drive and discuss in detail which extras to add elevates the quality of the sales process and we are excited that both our brand new 2023 Pilote demonstrators have arrived and are ready on the yard.

​The Pacific P740FC has proven to be one of the most popular motorhomes throughout the last few years and continues to be part of the Pilote range in 2023. We fitted our demo model with side steps, Fiat bonnet guard, Fiat monsoons, and a bike rack to showcase some of the extras available.

​The Fiat cab update looks stunning and has elevated the driver experience to a new level and we upgrade all our multimedia units to include offline navigation.

​The P740 is currently fitted with 200w solar and twin habitation batteries however there is plenty of roof space to add on solar capacity.

​We also fitted a sophisticated multimedia system trusting the new Avtex Smart TV.

​A-Glass motorhomes have become increasingly popular and Pilote's Galaxy G740FC model is a great option for those who are looking for that extra space, additional power and the large front window. We fitted our demonstrator with 400w Solar, Lithium Batteries, Inverter, Media System and upgraded Leatherette Seats.

​The optional white glossy finish furniture elevates the luxury feeling even further.

​Matt ventured south a while ago and discovered a great little brewery most of us didn't hear about yet. To be honest he hasn't stopped talking about it since and was more than happy to write the article below and share his thoughts.

If you like the idea of parking up your RV near a friendly tidy microbrewery and restaurant, I fully recommend a stop off at the "House of Hop" located at 3 Gualter Road in Geraldine.

My wife Jess, our daughter Mackenzie and I stopped off and had an incredible time. Daryl and his family also visited on a separate occasion and had a great evening.

​The business itself recently changed hands and the new owners are a full family team which sits well with our own family ethos.

I phoned Lisa who is part of the team and oversees the front of house. She was extremely enthusiastic and ran though the extensive renovations they have undertaken to transform the space to a slick, tidy and modern looking brewery.

The parking space for RV’s is in the large car park adjacent to the restaurant and brewery and is free for self-contained vehicles.

Friday- Saturday 11am-10pm
Sunday 11am-4pm
Closed Monday-Tuesday

On the night we stayed I dined on the BBQ Pork ribs and they were as good as I have tried anywhere. I also sampled a selection of great tasting beers.

The new owners have extended the menu to include Burgers, Taco’s, Fish, and a great selection of sides even incorporating the beer into some of the dishes. The new additions sound delicious and a bit more adventurous than your standard fare.

Both the wild pulled pork burger with sweet slaw and BBQ sauce or maybe the coconut crusted chicken burger with grilled pineapple, avocado and bacon may be hard to go past.

Also new to the premise are two glass houses. The goal is to be able to fully service the restaurant’s needs with their own home grown, spray free organic produce.

I will certainly visit again next time I get a chance and strongly recommend The House of Hops to anyone who is in the area.
