Creative Ways to Increase Storage Space in Your RV

 Your RV may be equipped with all of the comforts of home, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t bring a few more. With limited space, you may feel cluttered and overwhelmed when you pack everything you need for a long journey. Angled Shelving

​Drawers can be a cluster of difficult-to-find objects, and an RV isn’t the right place to try and keep jars upright. Avoid the breakage by quickly installing angled shelving. All you need is two or three plywood boards in a slanted position and your drawers become an organised paradise.

Door Hangers

​Every door has a giant empty space right behind it. You can DIY this or simply go to Kmart for sheets of cloth with oversized pockets. Cleaning items and additional clothing can be safely secured in door hangers.

Under-Bed Areas

​Some caravans are already equipped with lift-up storage spaces underneath their beds. Even if your caravan isn’t, you can use stackable boxes to convert this space into savvy shelving for jackets and shoes. This is also a good place to keep appliances that you will only use occasionally.

Cord Organisers

​Coil your cords and hoses without tangling them by wrapping them around a PVC pipe or large stick. This idea could rejuvenate the area at the front of your caravan that is used for external cords.

Invest in Collapsible Everything

Fold-out, pop-up and collapsible products are super cheap to buy and will save you so much space. Ironing boards, laundry hampers and clothing racks are all crucial equipment that can be bought in collapsible forms. It’s important to think about space limitations before you go buying new products for your caravan.

Magnetic Strips

Strong magnets will hold a lot of your kitchen utensils in place when you’re on the move. Scissors, knives, tongs and more will be right on the wall when you’re searching for them, freeing up space in your drawers.

Save Yourself Some Trouble and Avoid Overpacking
